The goal of the Assessment and Accountability Ad Hoc Committee is to review and update assessment processes, guidelines, and best practices associated with the use of state-approved assessments and accountability procedures for adult education programs The committee is working on the following tasks: TABE CLAS-E Evaluate and Recommend Action to DOE re inclusion in Rule on Adult Education Assessments Assessment Certification - Review and update current certification and re-certification requirements for TABE, CASAS, BEST Literacy & BEST Plus Assessment for Literacy ESOL Learners -
