The Task Force addresses issues and concerns related to the four components of family literacy programs:

Parent and Child Together (PACT) Time
Interactive literacy activities between parents and their children



The task force is comprised of practitioners from school districts, community colleges, corrections, libraries, volunteer literacy groups, community-based organizations and other local and state agencies who are committed to the field of Family Literacy..
Parent Education
Training for parents as the primary teachers and full partners in the education of their childen
Adult Education
Adult literacy training that leads to economic self-sufficiency
Quality Age-Appropriate Education
Instructional activities designed to prepare children for success in school and life experiences
