What's a VARK?

VARK is the acronym associated with a learning styles inventory that was developed by Neil Fleming of Lincoln University in Canterbury, New Zealand. VARK stands for the four different modes that teachers typically use to present information to students - Visual, Aural, Read/Write, and Kinesthetic. When teachers present information using multiple modalities, students learn better. There is a better match between teaching and learning styles.
