Let's begin. When you access the Internet through your
Internet provider (AOL, BellSouth, Mindspring, Roadrunner, your school
district, etc.) you will view the Internet using software called a "browser."
In most cases, the browser will be called Netscape Internet providers such as AOL use their own browsers, however the concept is the same. When you sign on to the Internet a page will
be displayed that looks something like this:
