The
Brain Lab-Never Too Old to Learn!
The Brain Lab-it's your classroom! In the
explosion of brain research that has been done in the past two decades,
investigators' energies have been heavily concentrated on how children
learn, and particularly, how they learn to read. But what does this mean
for your adult students?
Have you asked yourself if the research applies to adults?
|
As an adult educator, it is good to
know that science is also proving that it is never too late for
learning. The brain can change, at any age, with stimulation and
experience. As a teacher, remember that you are changing not only
your students' brains, but also your own!
Topics we will
discuss in this section are:

 |
- Plasticity"
of the brain
- Patterns and memory
- The brain-compatible
classroom
- How emotion drives
