Now that you are familiar with the process, there are two things that you need to do before you begin. First, if you wish to earn inservice points, login through your Region.

If you do not wish to earn inservice points, but just wish to visit the site and obtain useful information on learning disabilities, then please login as a guest.

If you have never participated in one of Florida's web-based trainings, you may wish to go through the orientation section.

Before we get started, let's first take a pretest!

Finished with the pretest? Great! Let's begin by making our resource folder. Throughout this training you will be reading articles and completing activities. We thought it would be a great idea for you to keep a resource folder of items that you can use in your classroom (this also helps our tactile learners keep focused.) Find a manila folder and label it "Bridges to Practice Resources." Everytime you access a website or another file that contains assessments, strategies or other valuable information, just print the page and place it in your resource folder.
