Creating the Optimal Learning Environment

Throughout this web-based training, you have learned about the special areas of ADD and ADHD and the ESOL/ESL LD student, as well as the different types of learning styles, the deficit areas of learning disabilities, and all of the different types of accommodations and modifications that are available to you, the adult educator. But how do you use all of this information plus what you know regarding learning disabilities and learning styles to create the optimal learning environment for each of your students?

In order to create the optimal environment, you will need to create or access effective and efficient strategies. Although there are lots of different "tricks of the trade" out there, it is important that the core of your program be based on well-founded strategies. These strategies must not only be effective, but also efficient.
