The Statistics
So just how common are
learning disabilities? Well, it is estimated that 15 - 20% of the
United States population may be affected by learning disabilities
(Source: National Institutes on Health). Add to that the following
statistics - 30 - 50% of the population has undiagnosed learning
disabilities (Source: National Institutes for Literacy) - and you
can see that learning disabilities affects many, many people.
