What About Florida in 2001?

State of Florida
  • In 2001, 293 students received extended time for the GED Tests.
  • Seven (7) students were provided a reading device.
  • 38 students were provided assistance in marking answers.
  • 453 students received other accommodations that enabled them to take the GED Tests.
  • 205 of the requests were for accommodations for specific learning disabilities (in some cases multiple accommodations were provided).
  • Approximately 1.5% of adults taking the GED Tests were approved for special accommodations.
  • A total of 62,757 adults took the GED Tests in Florida during 2001.
