What Are Some Other Accommodations Students May Need?

There are a number of accommodations that students may use in the classroom that do not require approval by GEDTS for the purpose of taking the GED Tests. However, special arrangements must be made with the Chief Examiner in order to secure permission for these accommodations during the GED Testing session.

Because a GED Testing Center may not have the student's preferred device on hand, the student may be permitted to bring his or her own magnifier, overlays, etc to the testing session. However, it is the prerogative of the Chief Examiner to examine these materials to ensure that they do not contain any unauthorized testing aids.

Click on the following file folder to view a list of Accommodations Not Requiring Approval by GEDTS. You may wish to print this list as reference material or to provide to your students who may need these accommodations that don't require completion and approval of the Form L-15.
