So How Do I Modify My Classroom for Different Learning Styles?

In order for all of your students to be successful, it is often necessary for you to make modifications to your program and the way that you teach. There are lots of ways that you can modify the classroom to meet the different learning styles of your students.

Click the folder below to open, print and save the document. You may want to put this in your resource folder for future use.

Click on the folder below and print the Adult Modalities Inventory to use in your classroom. Have your students complete this short questionnaire. Then ask them to calculate how many items he/she checked in each area and circle their strongest learning style. This, in turn, will help both you and the learner decide on how to modify instruction to enhance the learner's stengths, minimize his/her deficits, and increase success.
