How Can I Help?

It's not enough to just know what type of deficit area your student experiences. You must also be able to assist that student in working with the deficit area to find ways in which he/she can better learn.

There are many different techniques or ideas that you can implement in any classroom.

Click on each of the following problem areas to learn more about successful techniques that have been used by teachers working with learning disabled students. You will probably see ideas that would work with all of your students as well! (Click on the folder to open, print and save to your resource folder for future use).
