Follow the process below:
  1. Select a student performance you would like to evaluate. 
  2. Download the two rubric templates. Click the folder to download the file to your hard drive
  3. Select which template you will be using.
  4. Fill in the template with your criteria.  Be sure to include the objective or behavior (categories), range/level and the degree to which it has been met. 
  5. Write specific descriptions of expected student performance for each level.
  6. Submit your completed rubric by either:

The FCAT uses a four point and a two point rubric.
Open the Click the folder to download the file to your hard drivefile (You will need the Acrobat Reader to view this file.)   You will be provided an opportunity to read and score sample items using the FCAT four and two point rubric.  There are two portions to this exercise, one for reading and one for mathematics.  Once you have reviewed the sample responses in the pull down file, click here to complete the Reading exercise, then click here to complete the Math exercise.
