There are three types of
barriers or obstacles the adult learner faces according to
B. Allan Quigley in his article: The First Three
Weeks: A Critical Time for Motivation, Focus
on Basics, Vol. II, Issue A, March 1998. Read the
article and identify ways to structure your GED Preparation program
to eliminate these obstacles.
Coordination and Collaboration
Read Chapter 4, pages 4-5
and 4-6. Developing
linkages is essential in today's GED program. Collaboration
brings additional resources to the GED classroom. Post on the
bulletin
board an example of a linkage you have made that is unique
or has produced significant benefits for your program. You should
include:
