I'd Like to Know More About Broadcast or News Opportunities for My Program!

One of the most important things about dealing with the media (besides being prepared) is identifying your contacts. If you have worked with the media before, you probably already have the names of certain reporters that deal with educational news. However, if you are just beginning or would like to get started, you will need to identify potential contacts.

You may wish to call your local newspapers and television and radio stations to set up a meeting with the "educational" liaison.

Don't know where to begin? If you would like to access a listing of television stations, daily newspapers, capitol press corps contacts, and statewide news services, click on the following information below to open and print media identification information. This list comes right from the Get Your Message Out! Resource Guide.
