The Five Connections

 Orientation

Welcome to Orientation!  This orientation has been designed to give you an overview of the components that make up this web-based training program. 

If you are familiar with the Internet and the functionality of a web browser, then you may choose to skip the orientation and begin the "sequels."

  • Making New Connections - The Sequel: Critical Thinking and Visual Processing
  • Making New Connections - The Sequel: Higher Order Mathematics
  • Making New Connections - The Sequel: Language Arts, Writing - EAE for Today
The purpose of this orientation is to introduce you to the icons and functionality of this website.

You will be introduced to:

  • the toolbar for Netscape and Internet Explorer;
  • the Key to Icons box located on the left hand side of every screen; and
  • the forms pages that ask you to input data and submit via the web.
