In the workforce and our communities, adults are expected to be able to write so that others can read and understand what is being communicated. This is the focus of our language - to be effective communicators. With the implementation of the GED 2002 Series Tests, effective communication through the written word and the understanding of the written word will be a major focus of the Language Arts Tests. GED 2002 - Making New Connections provided basic information about GED students, the test, GED programs, basic teaching strategies and special topics on ESOL, Learning Disabilities and Technology. Making New Connections - The Sequel is a three- part training that will focus on specific teaching strategies for the GED 2002 Series Tests. This sequel can be used independent of any other training.
