Component 3 of this Digital Surround experience consists of an onsite workshop.  The onsite workshop will focus on the following:

• Using the Internet in the GED classroom
  • Download the Powerpoint file
  • View the Powerpoint file as a webpage
• Finding the resources that you need
• Using successful search strategies
• Incorporating Internet sites into the GED curriculum
• Accessing GED 2002 Resources through the:
  • Florida GED Website - www.aceofflorida.org/ged
  • Florida GED Inservice Sites - www.aceofflorida.org/inservice or http://www.floridatechnet.org/
  • GED Testing Service - www.gedtest.org

Participants will have an opportunity to conduct searches, develop activities for use in the GED classroom and share sites that they have found as a result of the searches.
