Have you ever wondered why:

  • The retention rate among adult students is so low?
  • Students who seem to work really hard just can’t make progress?
  • Some students take the GED Tests over and over and over and still fail by 3, 6, 10 points every time?
Chances are that those students have learning disabilities. If you know this to be true – and the research backs it up – then isn’t it time that you took a serious look at how you can change your program to ensure that more students earn that high school diploma?

Your first thoughts may be:

  • I don’t know how to do that.
  • Do you realize what a maze of paperwork and problems I would be stepping into?
  • Where do I even begin?
This Digital Surround has been designed to provide you with the information and resources you need to take those first steps through the maze. As you work through this web-based training, you will find that while it may not be the easiest task you have ever undertaken, it is a task that can be done – but more importantly it must be done. Remember, state and federal laws mandate that educational institutions provide accommodations for students with disabilities. If you are not aware of the laws, now is the time to get educated – before you encounter a series of problems that you really don’t want.
