Testing Accommodations

Students with disabilities may qualify for testing accommodations in your VPI program.  Remember, an adult student with disabilities must self-identify.  What kind of accommodations can you provide to students?  There are five basic kinds of changes that can be made.  See if you can list the five.  After you have completed this assessment activity, click on the ICON to see if your answers matched those approved by the State of Florida.  For help you may wish to access Technical Assistance Paper DWD 2000-2: Basic Skills Tests, Academic Skills Tests for Adults, General Educational Development(GED) Tests, Licensure Examinations and Accommodations and Exemptions for Students with Disabilities.
