Assessment = Accountability

It sounds strange to begin with the "end in mind."  However, as instructors, we must know the goals that our students must reach as well as where they are beginning if we are to be effective.  Although this ten-hour training will not teach you everything you need to know about assessment, it will give you information on:

• State Board of Education rules that govern VPI and assessment
• Basic vocabulary used in assessment
• Different assessment tools that you can use for the VPI program
• Steps for the implementation of your VPI assessment program
• Test security
• Testing accommodations
• MALDS and the writing of prescriptions
