Final Thoughts

Interest in how individuals learn has existed for hundreds of years.  It is not a new concept. However, integrating the various learning styles of students into the VPI classroom takes time and planning.  To begin this process, complete the following capstone project.

Capstone Project

Select a learning style inventory of your choice. Administer the inventory to your students.  If you are not currently an instructor, you may wish to talk with your administrator about visiting a classroom where the inventory can be administered.  You may use either a paper and pencil version or have students log onto the World Wide Web and take one of the inventories that you learned about earlier in this training.  Complete the short questionnaire and mail your results to the facilitator via the US Mail or as an attachment in an email.  Once you have finished, please take the posttest and complete the evaluation!
