VESOL - Vocational English to Speakers of Other Languages

Rubric - a measurement scale used to evaluate a stduent's performance using a list of charaterisics that describe critera and a numeric score.

Self-assessment - student generated review of his or her own work or learning

Learning log - journal entries that summarize what students have learned or strategies they have used that were successful.
