So
you have been selected to make a presentation - maybe you
have been asked to present information about your program
to the local Workforce Development Board or maybe you have
to conduct a half or full-day training session in mathematics
for your GED program. What are you going to do?
Ask
a realtor the key to success in selling real estate, he or
she would say, "location, location, location." Ask
a successful presenter the key to success in presenting information
to large or small groups, and he or she would say, "preparation,
preparation, preparation."
Welcome
to the Presenter's Room! This portion of Florida TechNet
has been designed as a resource for you. Whether you are new
to presenting to anyone other than your students or a handful
of co-workers or you have been presenting for a while and
just want to put a little more zing in your presentation,
this is the site for you.

Before
you start, however, it's important to that you begin this
journey by Understanding Your Audience. You may have spents
hundreds of hours planning your presentation, but unless you
know something about your audience, you may "bomb"
completely right from the beginning.
Get
an overview of Understanding
Your Audience.
Have
a better idea of your audience and what they expect? Good,
let's move on.
